Cheney Calls Democrats ‘Soft on National Security’

Is Obama Set To Give Tomb of Jesus and Temple Mount to Forces of Allah?

by Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.

It appears the Crusades are now being conducted in reverse.
The holy war was called to free the Church of Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem from the clutches of Muslims.
Nearly one thousand years later, it’s reported that the Obama Administration is in the process of giving the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Temple Mount, and other sacred sites back to the forces of Islam.
Militant Christianity is now in full retreat.
The surrender of the sites is advocated not only by the Vatican but by leading mainline Protestant denominations, including the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ, the United Methodist Church, the American Baptists, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
George Mitchell, Special Envoy to the Middle East, is meeting currently in London with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to lay the foundation for the Obama Peace Plan. ....

The plan, according to Al-Uzak, calls for the creation of an independent Palestinian State with the old city of Jerusalem as its capital. It also includes the following elements:

WND Exclusive Look who Muslims promote as 'Antichrist' 52-part documentary, 'The Arrivals,' going viral on Internet

Guess who is being promoted as the "Antichrist" in a new 52-part video documentary making the rounds on YouTube?

The Islamic production company responsible makes the case that the endtimes global leader, also known as "the Beast of Revelation," will actually be the Christian and Jewish Messiah. ....

The author, a student of Islam, says the notions put forward in the documentary are not fringe within the Islamic community. ....

"According to the documentary, Jesus Christ as He has been worshipped by Christians throughout history is merely a Christianized version of Ra, the Egyptian Sun god. Accordingly, the video makes the following claim about Jesus (aka Ra): "The 'one-eyed' sun god was referred to as 'the son of god,' 'the light of the world' and 'the ruler of all.' Has the Church deceived its followers into worshipping a one-eyed sun god? Has there been a worldwide conspiracy that is preparing the world to accept the one-eyed dajjal as the true messiah?"

In "The Islamic Antichrist," Richardson exposes Western Christians to the Muslim traditions. He says most Christians have no idea of the stunning similarities between biblical Antichrist and the "Islamic Mahdi."

"According to Islamic tradition, under the reign of the Mahdi, the Islamic religious community will be so blessed, so wealthy, that anyone who asks from the Mahdi for anything, it will be granted," he writes.

Richardson's book stands in stark contrast to most other popular prophecy books of the last 40 years.

The student of Islam and the Middle East says that after decades of reading popular prophecy books and even best-selling fiction like the "Left Behind" series, millions of evangelical Christians around the world are expecting the Antichrist to emerge from a revived Roman Empire, which many have assumed is associated with the Roman Catholic Church and the European Union.

Not so, argues Richardson. His book makes the case that the biblical Antichrist is one and the same as the Quran's Muslim Mahdi. ....

Finding a Better Way to Prosecute Terrorists Glenn Sulmasy says a hybrid judicial process could convict the bad guys and make the U.S. look good

At the center of the controversy surrounding the closing of the Guantánamo Bay detention center is what to do with the suspected terrorists once the prison camp shuts in January. Trying detainees before military commissions or in federal courts isn't the solution, argues Capt. Glenn Sulmasy, a professor of law and judge advocate at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. In The National Security Court System, Sulmasy proposes a separate, hybrid court system, overseen by civilians, with detention, trials, and hearings held on U.S. military bases. He recently spoke with U.S. News about his proposal, President Obama, and why appearances matter in the battle against al Qaeda. Excerpts: ....

Ex-Intelligence Officials Cite Low Spirits at CIA

By Walter Pincus and Joby Warrick

...
A. B. "Buzzy" Krongard, the third-ranking CIA official at the time of the use of harsh interrogation practices, said that although vigorous oversight is crucial, the public airing of once-classified internal assessments and the prospect of further investigation are damaging the agency. "Morale at the agency is down to minus 50," he said.

At the same time, former inspector general John L. Helgerson, whose review of the program was largely declassified Monday, said that the release, though painful, would ensure that the agency confronts difficult issues head on, instead of ignoring or trying to bury them. ....

Cheney: 'I'm Very Proud of What We Did'

By John Amick

Former Vice President Dick Cheney reiterated his claim today that enhanced interrogation techniques used on terrorism suspects in U.S. custody in the years after September 11, 2001, worked in revealing terror plots despite contrary sentiment from a CIA investigator who probed detainee interrogations.

Cheney's statements come six days after the release of a 2004 CIA Inspector General report (pdf) that documents a litany of interrogation tactics used on detainees, including waterboarding, "walling," face-slapping and at least one mock execution. Cheney's views, though, contradict those of former CIA inspector general John Helgerson, who wrote in the report that there is no proof that such techniques were responsible for reliable information that helped in foiling terror plans.

"I'm very proud of what we did in terms of defending the nation for the last eight years successfully," Cheney said of the Bush administration's post-9/11 terror strategy on "Fox News Sunday." ....

Monday morning quick hits: Gadhafi, Haditha, Dingy Harry & more

(Analyst's note: Yes, this is a must read item. It provides a little insight into the American people beginning to stand up and say enough already.)

By Michelle Malkin

Good morning, all.

Woke up early to talk about Communist-whitewashing Rep. Diane Watson on Fox and Friends.

A few quick hits while I get my kids ready for school:

*In case you missed it, make sure to watch the vid of Rep. Carol Shea-Porter ejecting a town hall protester who stood up to challenge a Purple Shirt SEIU mobster.

*I also mentioned on Fox this morning how the Las Vegas Review-Journal is talking back to Bully Harry Reid, who expressed his hope that the pesky newspaper go out of business.

*Where is Haditha Marine-smearing Jack Murtha? The LA Times reports:

The Marine Corps has decided not to seek to reinstate criminal charges against a former battalion commander at Camp Pendleton for a 2005 incident in which his troops killed 24 civilians in Haditha, Iraq.

Instead, the Marine Corps will convene a Board of Inquiry to hear testimony and recommend whether Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani should be demoted to major for purposes of retirement.

Even if such a recommendation is made and then accepted by the Secretary of the Navy, Chessani’s retirement pay would still be based on being a lieutenant colonel.

The Marine Corps had sought to try Chessani for dereliction of duty for not ordering a war-crimes investigation when his Marines killed the 24, including three women and seven children. Chessani, who was not present when the killings occurred, reported to his superiors that the deaths, while tragic, were the result of fighting between Marines and insurgents.

A court-martial judge threw out the charges after ruling that it was improper for a Marine lawyer who investigated the Haditha shootings to sit in on meetings with the general who decided to bring the charges.

The Navy-Marine Corps Court of Appeals agreed with the judge’s ruling and rejected prosecutors’ requests to reinstate the charges. The court, however, said the Marine Corps could begin a new criminal investigation into Chessani’s conduct and then bring new charges.

But Lt. Gen. George Flynn, assigned by the commandant, Gen. James Conway, to decide what course the Marine Corps should take, decided against a new investigation and a resumption of a criminal case.

*And the latest on Gadhafi’s blood-stained camping trip plans:

Community leaders in Englewood claimed victory Sunday in a battle to keep Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi from staying at a residence owned by the Libyan mission to the United Nations.

Some 200 people gathered at the home of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a prominent radio and television personality who lives next door to the Libyan residence on East Palisade Avenue. Speakers, including Gov. Jon Corzine, U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and Rep. Steve Rothman (D-9th Dist.), a former Englewood mayor, repeatedly sent a clear message that Gadhafi was not welcome in Englewood — nor any other New Jersey town…

… Today, Wildes said, he will appear in Superior Court seeking an injunction on work at the Libyan residence, which has continued despite a stop-work order issued by the city for code violations.

“I don’t trust a politician from the government of Libya, their emissaries or their agents,” Wildes said. The only assurances Wildes said he will accept are from the State Department in the form of a visa restriction that keeps Gadhafi in Manhattan.

“He should be arrested if brought onto U.S. soil,” Wildes said. “He should be put in the Englewood lockup.”

Nicole DiCocco, spokeswoman for the Libyan embassy in Washington, D.C., declined to comment.

The Worst is Yet to Come

By: Vasko Kohlmayer

"Today, we're pointed in the right direction... While we've rescued our economy from catastrophe, we've also begun to build a new foundation for growth,” said President Obama recently. bailout

Unfortunately, the president's declarations and all the talk about the green shoots by his acolytes in the media are merely wishful thinking. Far from rescuing it, the Bush/Obama stimulus has dealt a damaging blow to the economy, and one which will exert its harmful effects for years to come. We only need to take a quick look at the big picture to see why. ....

Pandemic panic: Why feds pushing flu shot? Some say agenda to incite health terror, pass Obamacare

The following report is excerpted from Jerome Corsi's Red Alert

Why is the White House trying to cause a panic over a possible H1N1 virus

that could inflict massive illness and death on the American people?

Red Alert has received numerous e-mails arguing that the goal of the Obama administration is to use the pandemic panic to create enough fear that the American public will acquiesce to the passage of Obamacare, Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.

The White House announced that as much as half the United States population could be infected with swine flu, or the A-H1N1 virus, this fall and winter, resulting in possibly 90,000 deaths.

Describing a "plausible scenario" for the epidemic's predicted impact in the United States, the White House report said swine flu could "produce infection of 30-50 percent of the U.S. population this fall and winter, with symptoms in approximately 20-40 percent of the population (60-120 million people), more than half of whom would need medical attention."

WND documented a massive public relations program launched by the federal Center for Disease Control aimed possibly at creating the atmosphere in which U.S. citizens could be forced to take H1N1 vaccinations against their will.

WND has also reported that in reaction to the alarmist language of the federal government, the fast-growing Constitution Party has come out strongly in opposition to any mandatory injections of H1N1 vaccine, citing the Fourth Amendment and the right of people "to be secure in their persons."

"Clearly, the hysteria being generated by the White House over a pandemic possibility appears aimed at some sort of a power grab," Corsi wrote. ....

Czar's 'communist manifesto' scrubbed from Net Founded group with 'commitment to fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism'

By Aaron Klein

STORM's manifesto, 'Reclaiming Revolution'

How is this for a quick clean up job?

Last week, WND reported the official communist-oriented manifesto of a radical group founded by Obama's environmental adviser, Van Jones, was published in full on the Internet.

Just hours later, the manifesto was removed and the entire website was taken down.

It is, however, still available in web archives.

As WND previously reported, Van Jones, special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation to the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist.

Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM.

STORM's official manifesto, titled, "Reclaiming Revolution," had been published on the Internet.

A WND review of the 97-page treatise found that the manual describes Jones' organization as having a "commitment to the fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism."

"We agreed with Lenin's analysis of the state and the party," reads the manifesto. "And we found inspiration in the revolutionary strategies developed by Third World revolutionaries like Mao Tse-tung and Amilcar Cabral."

Cabral is the late Marxist revolutionary leader of Guinea-Bissau and the Cape Verde Islands.

WND previously reported Jones named his son after Cabral and reportedly concludes every e-mail with a quote from the communist leader. ....

U.S. commander: Afghan strategy must change

KABUL/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States and its allies must change strategy and boost cooperation to turn around the war in Afghanistan, the commander of Western forces in the country said on Monday after completing a much-anticipated review.

U.S. Army General Stanley McChrystal said the situation was "serious" but the 8-year-old war could still be won. He gave no indication as to whether he would ask for more troops but is widely expected to do so in the coming weeks. ....
