Johstown PA companies share in mulitmillion dollar contracts: Murtha gets his name associated with it

JOHNSTOWN — Local business leaders gathered at the Pasquerilla conference center Friday morning for the announcement of $110 million in contract awards.

Defense companies Concurrent Technologies Corp., (CTC), Johnstown Welding Fabrication Industries (JWFI), DRS Technologies and Martin-Baker America were among those receiving contracts.

The announcements came as U.S. Rep. John Murtha opened the public portion of the Showcase for Commerce at the War Memorial Arena.
