On Saturday in Pakistan, a young American recently charged by authorities in North Carolina with leaving the United States to engage in “violent jihad,” failed to show up for a scheduled court appearance. As The Lede noted on Friday, Jude Kenan Mohammad was arrested and then released on bail by Pakistani authorities last year, after he attempted to enter a tribal area along the Afghan border but before any charges were filed in North Carolina, where he now stands accused of being part of a ring of would-be jihadists. ....
